Senator Holly Mitchell Releases TV Ad Highlighting Record on Criminal Justice and Moral Leadership
LOS ANGELES - State Senator Holly Mitchell’s campaign for Los Angeles County Supervisor released a new television ad today, “Moral Compass”, that lays out the clear choice voters face in electing the next Supervisor for District 2.
The ad highlights Mitchell’s strong record on criminal justice reform and moral leadership, while showcasing Herb Wesson’s “culture of corruption” that thrived under his tenure as President of the Los Angeles City Council.
Specifically, the ad also highlights Mitchell’s record on criminal justice reform. While Holly Mitchell was calling for reforms to prevent police brutality, Herb Wesson took hundreds of thousands of dollars from police unions and weakened the disciplinary systems for officers who shoot unarmed civilians.
Holly Mitchell’s candidacy for Los Angeles County District 2 Supervisor is endorsed by Governor Gavin Newsom and the Los Angeles Times, who called her the “moral compass” of the state legislature.
